Renae Pate

Mrs. Renae Pate, age 59, of Gainesville passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 16, 2017 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with inurnment following at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date.  Ken Grogan will officiate.  The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pate was born October 12, 1958 to the late Junior Forrest & Alpha Voncil Puckett in Panama City, Florida.  She was the owner of Renae’s Cakes and a member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church, where she a member of the Choir and the Bible Fellowship Class.

Mrs. Pate is survived by her husband, Kenny Pate of Gainesville; son, Patrick Howe of Gadsden, Alabama; daughter & son-in-law, Jennifer & Paul Tanner of Oakwood; grandchildren, Noah Davis, Nathaniel Davis and Jessie Tanner; great-grandson, Nicholas Davis; brothers, Richard Puckett of California, Russell Puckett of California and Ronnie Puckett of Florida; sisters, Marie Tidwell of Panama City, Florida and Deborah Russell of Youngstown, Florida; and several nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blackshear Place Baptist Church Building Fund, 3428 Atlanta Highway, Flowery Branch, Georgia  30542.
