Priscilla Barner Burnsed

Priscilla Barner Burnsed, age 73, of Flowery Branch passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville, surrounded by her family.

Memorial Services will be 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 21, 2017Hopewell Baptist Church.  Rusty Reese will officiate.  The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 20, 2017 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Ms. Burnsed was formerly of Savannah and had lived in Flowery Branch for the past 19 years. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and of the Encouragers Sunday School class.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Burnsed is preceded in death by her sisters, Joann Smith and Geraldine Latham.

Ms. Burnsed is survived by her daughter and son in law, Melissa  and Doug Straughan of Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Alex Straughan and Adam Straughan; brother and sister in law, Rev. William  and Kay Barner of Dublin, GA; sister and brother in law, Melinda and Charlie Heidt of Marlow, GA and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hopewell Baptist Church, 5086 Poplar Springs Rd, Gainesville, GA 30507.

Memorial Park South Funeral Home, 4121 Falcon Parkway, Flowery Branch, Georgia  30542 is in charge of arrangements.
