Joyce Ramell Richardson Franklin

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Joyce Ramell Richardson Franklin, age 82 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Monday, November 20, 2017.  Mrs. Franklin was born in Smithville, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Milford Pressley Richardson and the late Novella Ponder Richardson.  Mrs. Franklin was of the Christian Faith and was a retired Supervisor in the Medical Supplies Industry.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Franklin is preceded by a brother, James Morris Richardson, grandson, Cody Parrish, granddaughter Joy Riggs and her husband Manuel John Miranda.

Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Sue Reyes of Ohua, Hawaii, Carlene Soto and her husband Gabriel of Jefferson.  Brother, David Lee Richardson of Jefferson, two sisters, Juanita Bowdion of McMenville, Tennessee and Eva Kimura of Jefferson.  Several grandchildren and great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren also survive along with several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 2, 2017 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Tommy Sewell officiating.  The family will receive friends after the service.
