Shelley Melissa Spain Worden, 56 of Gainesville passed away Sunday December 3, 2017 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. Worden was a graduate of North Hall High School Class of 1979 and was also a graduate of Emory University. She was a member of Dewberry Baptist Church #1.
Survivors include her parents, Lewis and Peggy Whitmire Spain, Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Dena and Larry Grizzle, Gainesville; brother, Mickey Spain, Gainesville; husband, Keith Worden, Gainesville; step-daughter, Holly Worden, Gainesville; nieces and nephew, Amy and Brandi Anderson; Alesha and Jeremy Nix, all of Gainesville; great nephews, Grayson and Ethan Anderson; great niece, Emery Anderson; aunt, Rachel Helton, Gainesville; special friend, Kim Pace, Stockbridge.
Shelley was loved by all that knew her and she will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday December 6, 2017 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Henry Loggins, Rev. Carl Andreasen, and Rev. Brad Reynolds will officiate. Interment will follow in the Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday December 5, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
