Anthony Mason “Tony” Benitez

Anthony Mason “Tony” Benitez, age 27, of Gainesville, GA passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017 following a sudden illness.

He was a lifelong resident of Hall County and worked as a chef. He enjoyed playing the guitar and cooking.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Benitez, and father-in-law, Steve Garland.

Tony is survived by his wife, Katherine Benitez, Gainesville, GA; mom, Karen Benitez, Dahlonega, GA; mother-in-law, Rachel Garland, Gainesville, GA; sisters, Casey Ann Daniels, Dahlonega, GA and Patricia Lynn Benitez, Cleveland, GA; nephews, Alexander Benitez, Joshua Daniels, both of Dahlonega, GA; niece, Taylor Loggins, Cleveland, GA; nephews, Zachery Daniels of Dahlonega and Weston Loggins of Cleveland; and his fur babies, Jarvis and Cal.

A Memorial Service for Tony is scheduled for 3 PM Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 PM until service time on Saturday, December 9.
