Julie Catherine Brown

Ms. Julie Catherine Brown, age 58 of Athens died Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Kindred Hospice at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.  Ms. Brown was born in Commerce to Frances Burroughs Parker of Commerce and the late, Lynwood Hart.  Ms. Brown was a LPN and also worked at TJ Maxx Home Goods, and she was a member of Commerce First United Methodist Church.  In addition to her father, Ms. Brown was also preceded in death by her sister, Linda Hart Ray.

In addition to her mother, Ms. Brown is also survived by her daughters, Mandy Zaydel of Social Circle, Megan Butler of Athens, and Brenda Brown of Carnesville; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; sister, Laura Bruce of Athens.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, Jan. 6^th at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the interment following at Jackson Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from 6-8 PM.
