Lula Belle Sisk

Mrs. Lula Belle Sisk, age 97 of Gainesville, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Billy Nunnally will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sisk was born March 5, 1920 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Matt Strickland and Sally Gunter Strickland.  She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.  Lula was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Frank Sisk and her three children.

Mrs. Sisk is survived by her nieces, Peggy Skirvin of Gainesville, Janet Reed of Jefferson, Barbara Mauldin of Jefferson, Joy Huggins of Gainesville and Mary Burge of Gainesville, and a number of other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other family members.
