John Thomas Stark

John Thomas Stark, age 54, of Cumming passed away Monday, January 22, 2018. He was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Cumming, GA. John was born in Tuscaloosa, AL. where he graduated from Holt High School in 1981. He attended the University of Alabama, where he was a drummer in the Million Dollar Band. In 1983 he relocated to Georgia and remained here until his passing.

Survivors include his loving parents, Victor and Mary Stark of Cumming, GA; son, Spencer Stark of Cumming, GA; daughter, Sydney Stark of Cumming, GA; brother, Tim and his wife Jan Stark and their children Erin and Wesley of Virginia; sister, Susan Stark and Ellen MacArthur of Cumming, GA, several aunts, uncles and other relatives..

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Ted Miller officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church on Tuesday, from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Mr. Stark to Season’s Hospice, 8013 Majors Road, Cumming, 30041.
