Anita E. Kerr, age 50, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Banks Ryder; and father, Fred E. Kerr. She is survived by her step-up dad, Joe Ryder, Buford, GA; brother, Fred and Carol Banks, Dacula, GA; sister, Colleen Banks Johnson, Flowery Branch, GA; lifelong partner, Billy Patterson, Flowery Branch, GA; nephews, Wesley Johnson, Braselton, GA, Brandon Johnson, Sharpsburg, GA, Andrew Banks, Dacula, GA, Michael Banks, Dacula, GA; niece, Felicia Stewart Sewell, Buford, GA; several great nephews and great nieces; step-children, Roger and Ieva Patterson, Gainesville, GA, Danielle Patterson, Gainesville, GA, Pauline Cooper, Lula, GA; aunts, Juanita Banks Lord, Winder, GA, Jan Parker, Buford, GA, and Clarice and Richard Breedlove, Buford, GA; uncle, Charles and Doris Banks, Buford, GA. Ms. Kerr was born July 22, 1967 in Toledo, Ohio. She was a 1985 graduate of Buford High School in Buford, GA and was retired from the Waffle House Inc. as a claims adjuster in workman’s compensation. She was of the Christian faith. “Anita was loved by all who knew her and she will be dearly missed”. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Groves officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
