Edna Lenor Allen Carr

Ms. Edna Lenor Allen Carr, age 69, of Commerce passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at her residence.  Ms. Carr was born in Pahokee, FL on May 5, 1948 to the late Henry and Viola Youngblood Allen.  Ms. Carr was retired from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. 

Ms. Carr is survived by her son, Bobby Brownell (Jennifer) of Lake City, FL; daughters, Melanie Morris (Josh) of Commerce, Jennifer Ayers (Daniel) of Mt. Airy, Gina Mayo of Hull; grandchildren, Savannah Boyd, Dylan Seagraves, Caleb Stuart, Kyle Stuart, Braxton Morris, Kole Reid, Kyle Morris, and Dillon Morris; a number of beloved cousins; best friend, Denice Fowler; her dog, Chloe. 

The family would like to give a special thanks to her hospice team, Robyn, Janet, Brittany, and Tammy.

Funeral service will be held Friday, Feb. 2^nd at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Mr. Tory Bell, Mr. Jeff Rogers, and Mr. Cam Boswell officiating with the interment following at Grey Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night from 6-8 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia.
