James Riley Westberry, Jr

Mr. James Riley Westberry, Jr., age 73, of Flowery Branch, GA, joined Jesus in Heaven on Monday, February 05, 2018.     

Jim was born in Blackshear, GA on February 03, 1945, and is the son of the late James Sr. and Mary Westberry.

Jim was always ambitious and hard working. Some of his jobs included auto mechanic, jet mechanic in the U.S. Air Force, owning his own tool business, and managing convenience stores.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Michaela Westberry. Survivors include Jim’s wife, Nancy; three sons Bob Westberry (wife, Rachel), of Georgia, Aaron Westberry (wife, Kim), of Tennessee, Ryan Westberry (wife, Wendy), of South Carolina, one daughter Jenny Thetford (husband, Shad), of Hawaii; 6 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 11, 2018, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home followed by a few minutes of remembering the life of this wonderful man. A private burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family would like to thank each of you for your presence here today to remember and honor Jim. Please keep them in your prayers as they adjust to life without their husband, father, and grandfather.
