Lawrence "Larry" Rice Phillips

Lawrence "Larry" Rice Phillips, 82, died Sunday, January 28th in Suwanee, GA, after a brief illness. Born in Hazelton, IN he moved to Bellbook, OH in 1960 where he resided until moving to Georgia in 2017. He was a retired engineer from the Air Force where he dedicated 37 years of civil service at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH. He was a 1953 graduate of Hazelton High School, a 1955 graduate of Vincennes University and a 1959 graduate of Evansville College.  He was preceded in death by his parents, L. Brice Phillips and Virginia R. Phillips, of Hazelton, IN. 

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Roberta A. Phillips, a son, Craig Phillips (Julie) of Suwanee, GA, a daughter, Jodi Conner (Alvin) of Camden, AL, a sister, Zoan Meeks of Princeton, IN, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Sunday, February 11th at 2:00 p.m. at Creekside United Methodist Church, Cumming, GA with Pastor Jason Danuser officiating.
