Oberene Gilleland

Oberene Gilleland, age 101, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018. She was the oldest member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Gilleland; and daughter, Betty Jennings.

She is survived by her son-in-law, Oliver Jennings; grandchildren, Phil and Connie Jennings; great grandchildren, Jonathan and Sara Jennings; great-great granddaughter, Harper Anne Jennings; and many other loving friends and relatives.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gilleland will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Cumming, GA, with Rev. Robert Martin, Rev. Harold Bottoms and Rev. Shane Milford officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
