Rachael Abbott Johnson

Rachael Abbott Johnson, age 40, of Buford, GA passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rebecca Lee. She is survived by her husband of twenty years, Kevin Johnson, Buford, GA; daughter, Molly Johnson, Buford, GA; father, Richard and wife, Chris Abbott, Prosperity, SC; sister, Allison Abbott and Misty Jenkins, Columbus, GA; nephews, Jackson Abbott, Cody Jenkins, Phillip Johnson; brother-in-law, Rev. Billy R. Johnson, Jr. and wife, Wanda Johnson, Buford, GA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Billy R. Johnson, Sr. and Teresa Johnson, Buford, GA; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Mrs. Johnson was born August 22, 1977 in Savannah, GA. She was a 1995 graduate of Buford High School in Buford, GA and a 1999 graduate of the University of West GA with a Bachelor’s degree. She was a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts where she was also a leader. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Tannery Row Ale House in downtown Buford with Rev. Billy R. Johnson, Jr. officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Nora’s Home in Houston, Texas, 8300 El Rio Street, Houston, Texas 77054 in memory of Rachael Johnson.
