Jorge H. Correa

Mr. Jorge H. Correa, age 74, of Gainesville passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018 at his residence, surrounded by his family.

A Memorial Mass will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 19, 2018 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.  Father Branson Hipp will officiate.

Mr. Correa was born July 8, 1943 to the late Jorge Enrique and Maria Stella Correa in Medellin, Colombia.  He was of the Catholic Faith and was founder, partner and CFO of Banacol Corporation in Colombia, South America.

Mr. Correa is survived by wife, Maria Cecilia Correa of Gainesville; daughter & son-in-law, Catalina & Kevin Ghoneim of Peachtree Corners; son & daughter-in-law, David & Paige Correa of Roswell; son, Santiago Correa of Boston; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Anabelle Correa and Hannah and Lucas Ghoneim; brothers, Leon Jaime Correa, Alejandro Correa and Jose Luis Correa all of Colombia; and sisters, Gloria Stella, Victoria Eugenia, Luz Gladys, Olga Maria and Margarita Rosa all of Colombia.  He was preceded in death by his siblings, Carlos Ignacio and Beatriz Elena.
