Paul Phillip Pettyjohn

Mr. Paul Phillip Pettyjohn, age 53, of Dahlonega passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at his residence following a sudden illness.

Paul was born January 11, 1965 in Duluth, Georgia to parents, Thomas Eugene and Katie Lou Shirley Pettyjohn. He was employed by Forsyth Plumbing and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his fiancé’, Vickie Cooke, Dahlonega, children;  Wanda Summers, Cleveland, Tabitha Kimbrell, Gainesville, Phillip Pettyjohn, Gainesville, Tiffany Pressley, Toccoa, Blake Abernathy, Franklin County, Jacob Ryder Abernathy, Gainesville, Breanna Pettyjohn, Gainesville, Samantha Mulkey, Dahlonega. Sister; Anita Campbell, Cumming, brothers; David Pettyjohn, Atlanta, Tommy Pettyjohn, Canton, Mark Pettyjohn, Dawsonville. Seven grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2018 in the chapel of Dahlonega Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Gober officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Forest Memorial Park in Jasper.  The family will receive friends Thursday, same day, from 10:00 a.m.until the service hour.
