Mr. Henry Franklin O’Kelley, age 81, of Maysville, GA, passed away Wednesday, February 21st, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Mr. O’Kelley was born in Maysville, GA to the late Charlie F. and Sallie Suggs O‘Kelley. Mr. O’Kelley served his Country in the United States Army and in the National Guard. He was a former equipment operator for the Department of Transportation, and attended Stone Path Church in Maysville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bettye S. O’Kelley.
Survivors include sons, Henry Nathaniel O’Kelley, of Commerce, and Stanley O’Kelley, of Commerce; daughter, Debbie Fattig (Zackery), of Commerce; brothers, Emory O’Kelley, of Commerce, and Vernon O’Kelley, of Winder; sister, Mary Saxon, of Ila. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 2 P.M. Sunday, February 25th, in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, with Rev. Dugar Strickland and Rev. Gary Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, February 24th, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.
