Joyce Magdeline Walker Panter

Joyce Magdeline Walker Panter of Dahlonega passed away on February 27, 2018 following an extended illness. She was a native of Fannin County but moved to Dahlonega in 1942.  She will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Panter is preceded in death by her parents Junie Walker and Viva Wilson Walker, her husband Arthur T. Panter Sr. and son Todd Panter.

Mrs Panter is survived by her children Arthur T. JR. (Freddia) Panter of Dahlonega, Jane (Grady) Cantrell of Dahlonega, Donna Welch Reed (Edwin) of Dahlonega, Darla (Bill) Anderson of Dahlonega, Tim (Susan) Panter of Gainesville, GA and daughter in law Diane Panter of Dahlonega, thirteen grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday March 2, 2018 at the chapel of Dahlonega Funeral Home at 2pm. Family will receive friends on Thursday March 1, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-9.
