Richard Gail Eley, Jr.

Mr. Richard Gail Eley, Jr., age 39 of 762 Wolf Pit Road, Eastanollee, Georgia passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the Atlanta Medical Center, Atlanta, Georgia.

A son of Kathy Shirley Kimsey and the late Richard G. Eley, Sr., he was born October 26, 1978 in Rankin County, Mississippi having lived most of his life in Stephens County. He was a self-employed carpenter and a member of Charity Baptist Church, Jonesboro, Georgia. He was an organ donor.

Survivors include his mother and father, Kathy and Danny Kimsey of Eastanollee; wife Rebecca Wenne of Athens, GA, four daughters, Desarae of Toccoa, Alexia and Isabella of Athens and Alyssa of Stockbridge; two sons, Austin of Toccoa and Brayden of Athens; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Mitchell and Misty Winne of Lexington, SC and Daniel and Courtney Kimsey of Toccoa; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Michelle and Brock Kellar of Toccoa, Danyel Pritchard of Williamson, Georgia and Brandi and Dwayne Drake of Madison County, Georgia; one grandchild; grandmother, Clifford Kimsey of Tococa; a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be Saturday, March 10, 2018, 2 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home.
