James L. Knighton, Jr

James L. Knighton, Jr., age 88, of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred C. Knighton; and son, William David Knighton. He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Gary Biasco, Buford, GA; son, James L. Knighton, III, Lilburn, GA; daughter-in-law, Shawn Knighton; sister, Nancy and Jimmy Stephenson, Altamonte Springs, FL; grandchildren, Stephen Craig Inglett, and William David Knighton, Jr. and wife, Brittany; great grandchildren, Alexander Acosta, China Acosta, Dalia Acosta, and Levi Knighton. Mr. Knighton was born July 2, 1929 in Atlanta, GA. He was a 1947 graduate of Boys High School in Atlanta. He was a retired cook from the Silver Skillet Restaurant in Atlanta, GA and was once involved in the Boy Scouts. No formal services are planned. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boy Scouts of America in memory of James L. Knighton.
