Ruthlene McClure Chambers

Ruthlene McClure Chambers age 87 of Cleveland, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 16, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Mrs. Chambers was born May 22, 1930 to the late Charlie and Jessie Johnson McClure. She was a homemaker and a chicken farmer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years Clyde Chambers, sister and brother-in-law, Catherine and Sherry Collins, brother and sister-in-law, Albert (Bud) and Armour McClure and brother, Robert McClure.

The family would like to give a big thanks to the care givers of Hospice and Guardian Home Health.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Leon Gilleland, Cleveland; daughter, Deborah Chambers, Cleveland; grandchildren, Casey and Charles Caudell, Jasper, Ryan Gilleland, Cleveland, Matthew and Angela Gilleland, Cleveland; great grandchildren, Kaylee Caudell, Hannah Caudell, Tyler Gilleland, Aaron Gilleland, Greyson Gilleland.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday, March 18, 2018 at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary Heffner, the Rev. Paul Flynn and Pastor Charles Caudell will officiate. Interment will follow at Zion Interdenominational Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
