J. B. Brown

J.B. Brown, 84, of Gillsville, Georgia passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Shannon Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow in Wahoo Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 26, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Born on December 4, 1933 in Dahlonega, he was the son of the late Ben and Emma Ray Brown. Mr. Brown was retired from Parr Roofing Company where he was a supervisor. Mr. Brown was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Joyce Sayne Brown of Gillsville; son and daughter in law, Johnny and Janita Brown of Jefferson; daughter, Stephanie Brown of Gillsville; grandchildren, Crystal Daves (Shannon), Brandon Brown (Courtney), Faith Brown,; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Lou Samples, Louise Glenn, Jackie Ellis, Vickie Griffin and Regina Seabolt.
