Billy Ray Boyd

Mr. Billy Ray Boyd, age 61 of 127 Dogwood Road, Toccoa passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 at his residence.

A son of Elsie Mitchell Boyd and the late Clyde Boyd, he was born May 9, 1956 in Stephens County where he lived all his life. He owned and operated Boyd’s Mobile Home Park and Boyd’s Garage and Towing and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his mother, Elsie M. Boyd of Toccoa; two sons and daughter-in-law, Chris and Tamara Boyd and Brandon Boyd both of Toccoa; grandchildren, Kaylee and Raegan and Christie Munas; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Cecil and Mary Ann Boyd and Jimmy and Susan Boyd both of Toccoa and Roy Mitchell of Royston; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Fannie and David Reed of Toccoa and Joyce and Keith Elliott of Martin; the mother of his children, Cindy Boyd of Toccoa;

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 28, 2018, 2 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Travis Rucker officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Jason Elliott, Jake Boyd, Michael Boyd, Jay Parson, Billy Hall and Chasten Parker. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Parker and Harold Smith.

The family will be at the home on Dogwood Road, Toccoa and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences can be made at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in Roselane Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Billy Ray Boyd.
