John Anthony Stoica

John Anthony Stoica, age 85, of Cumming, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018.John escaped from Romania in 1945 and came to the United States in 1946. Eventually he became a naturalized citizen of the United States of America in 1952.  He was a member of St. Brendan’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was United States Air Force Veteran where he proudly served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a consummate patriot and always proud to be an American. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Angela Stoica.

Survivors include his wife, Trish Stoica of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Alison and Barry Lucas; granddaughter, Georgia Lucas.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 6, 2018, at 9:00 am at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at 10:30 am at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton Georgia. The Family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday from 8:30 am until hour of service.
