Kenneth G. Taylor

Kenneth G. Taylor, age 71, of Hoschton, GA and formerly of Buford, GA and the Gravel Springs Community passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father, Keith Taylor. He is survived by his mother, Margaret White Taylor, Hoschton, GA; step children, Dwayne and Barbara Standridge and Tony Standridge; aunt, Evelyn Harrison White, Buford, GA; and several cousins. Mr. Taylor was born June 21, 1946 in Buford, GA. He was a 1965 graduate of Buford High School in Buford, GA. He was retired from Rayson Tull Metal Company in Norcross, GA with thirty-five years of service. He was an avid antique car lover and loved his 1934 Ford. He enjoyed traveling in forty-eight states of the United States and to Canada, Mexico, Italy and Germany. He was a member of the Hardee’s Breakfast Club and Birthday Club. He was a member of Gravel Springs Baptist Church in Buford, GA and attended Duncan Creek Congregational Church in Buford, GA. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. James Dee Dillin officiating. Interment will follow in Gravel Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 16, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
