Bobby Joe Franklin

Funeral services for Bobby Joe Franklin, age 78 of Mt. Airy will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Hillside Memorial Chapel.  Rev. Chris Webb and Rev. Tony Goss will officiate with interment to follow the service in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Franklin passed away April 16, 2018.

Born in Habersham County on May 7, 1939, Mr. Franklin was the son of the late Carl and Myrtie Jameson Franklin.  Mr. Franklin was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and he was a retired accountant with Burger King.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Franklin is preceded in death by sister Edith Franklin Watson.

Survivors include brother and sister in law Charles and Imogene Franklin of Mt. Airy, brother in law John Watson of Mt. Airy, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
