Donald Horace Dockery

Donald Horace Dockery age 80, of Cleveland passed away Monday April 23, 2018.

Mr. Dockery was born in White County the son of the late Wesley and Martha Lou Etris Dockery.  He was preceded in death by his wives, Norma Jean Bryan Dockery and Sara Rae Dockery and sister, Bobbie Garrison.  Mr. Dockery was a Carpenter and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church #2.

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Donald Thomas, Cleveland, Christie and Nathan Palmer, Cleveland; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Tina Dockery, Dahlonega, Randall and Deirdre Dockery, Cleveland; grandchildren, Candace and Eric McClure, David Dockery, Jacob Palmer, Katelynn Palmer, Ellie Brooke Palmer, Chase Grizzle; great grandchildren, Addyson McClure, Aubrey McClure, Ashton Adams; siblings and spouses, Eunice and Johnny Ledford, Doris and Betty Dockery, Doyle and Linda Dockery, Loudean and Tommy England, Dorsey Dockery, and Billy and Betty Dockery; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.  The Rev. Jerry Whitlock and the Rev. Phillip Robinson will officiate.  Interment will follow at Mt. View Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
