Naomi Imogene Adams

Naomi Imogene Adams passed away on May 3, 2018 following an extended illness. She was known to her family and friends as “Jean”. Mrs. Adams had been a resident of Willow Wood Nursing Facility in Flowery Branch for the past 9 years. She previously lived in Clermont, Georgia.

Mrs. Adams was born February 22, 1928 to the late Ray and Sally (Lawson) Smith and is preceded in death by her son, Benny Adams and brother, Edgar Smith.

Mrs. Adams is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws Judy and Doug Oliver of Lula; Joan and Ronnie Harrison of Murrayville; daughter Joyce Dills of Lula; son and daughter-in-law Ricky and Annette Adams of Clermont; daughter-in-law M’ledge Adams of Clermont; grandchildren Lauren Adams, Jennifer Adams Crowe, Kristi Oliver Gillespie, Amanda Oliver Frost, Chad Oliver, Kenneth Armour, Joshua Adams and Jeb Dills; sister Brenda (Swayne) Brown of Clermont; and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3pm on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel. Rev. Ronnie Fuller will officiate. Interment will follow at Cool Springs Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 5pm – 8pm on Saturday, May 5, 2018 and from 1p – 3p on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at the funeral home.
