Mrs. Hazel Geeter Lathan, age 58 of 1 Norman Drive, Toccoa passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018 at her residence.
A daughter of the late Thomas Geeter, Jr. and Mary Helen Powell Geeter, she was born May 14, 1959 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all her life. She was retired from the manufacturing industry. She loved spending time with her granddaughter and watching her grandsons play baseball and football. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Lee Geeter.
Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Mandie and Jason Page of Toccoa and Kimberly Geeter and her finance`, Anthony Wade of Toccoa; four grandchildren, Austin Page, Jordan page, Colley Glenn and Mackenzie Wade; brother, Billy Joe Geeter of Toccoa; two sisters and brother in-law, Kay and Ricky Ramey and Deborah Brown both of Toccoa; a number of nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 9, 2018, 2 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Andy Childs officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Austin page, Jordan Page, Colley Glenn, Chris Lakey, Ricky Ramey and Billy Geeter. Honorary pallbearer will be Noah Lakey.
The family will be at the home of Mandie and Jason Page, 479 Cedar Lane, Toccoa and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences can be made at www.acree-davisfh.com.
Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Hazel Geeter Lathan.
