Alma Kathleen Pruitt

Mrs. Alma Kathleen Pruitt, age 93, of Commerce died Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.  Mrs. Pruitt was born in Commerce to the late, CP and Theresa Brooks Carlan.  Mrs. Pruitt was a member of Brockton Road Baptist Church and she was a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pruitt was also preceded in death by her husband, Gartrell Pruitt; daughter, Linda Pruitt; and sons, Bobby and Chad Pruitt.

Mrs. Pruitt is survived by her daughter, Gail Lane-Seabolt of Dahlonega; sons, Billy Pruitt of Danielsville and Thad Pruitt of Homer; nine grandchildren, Shane Pruitt, Nikki Lane- Cloud, Chris Pruitt, Haleigh Baird, Kim Pruitt, Hannah Pruitt, Daniel Pruitt, Kirkland Pruitt, and Gabriel Pruitt; three great grandchildren, Sophia Baird, Izabel Baird, and Cliff Pruitt.

Funeral service will be held Friday, May 11^th at 11:00 AM from Brockton Road Baptist Church with Rev. Jesse Mealor and Rev. Eddie Borders officiating with the interment following at Jackson Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night from 5-7 PM.
