James E. “Jim” Hewlett

James E. “Jim” Hewlett, age 69, of Hoschton, GA passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018. He is survived by his wife of fifteen years, Robin Hewlett, Hoschton, Ga; children, Jayme and Warren Spangler, Jonestown, PA, Stefanie and Cliff Fortenberry, Elijay, GA, Jimmy and Katherine Hewlett, Cartersville, GA; step-children, Amy and Clinton Barrett, Buford, GA, and John and Kristen Gall, Midland, MI; sister, Jan Bricker and partner, Kim, St. George, UT; and thirteen grandchildren. Mr. Hewlett was born on October 24, 1948.  He was a 1966 graduate of Dell City High School, Dell City, OK, and a graduate of Tarrant College in Fort Worth, TX. He . was a former resident of Cartersville, GA. Mr. Hewlett was retired from Transport Services Co. He was an avid UGA Bulldog fan and he enjoyed fishing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to America Diabetic Association or to the American Cancer Society in memory of James “Jim” Hewlett. No services are planned.
