Glenda Jean Reed

Our beloved mother Glenda Jean Reed age 74 of Gainesville, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday May 30, 2018. Our mother touched more lives than she knew. She genuinely cared for others and felt her
ministry here on this earth was personal care giving that she dedicated her life to. She was not ashamed to share the gospel or pray
over others.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Rivers Reed, mother, Ruby Nell Lancaster Reed, sisters, Willonell Gilstrap, Shirley
Buffington, brothers, Denver Reed, Hulette Reed, Bob Reed, Gary Reed and Randall Reed.

Survivors include, daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Stan Mullinax, daughter, Lynn Gilleland and Mike Allison, grandchildren, Bradley and Stephanie Gilleland, Brandon Gilleland, Jonathan Mullinax, Jenny and Shawn Carroll, Stephanie Clark and Ashley Black, sisters and
brother-in-laws, Hazel and Hal Hawkins, Carolyn and Olin Rylee, and a number of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews,

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday June 2, 2018 at Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Gary Wilson will officiate. Interment will follow at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
