Ruby Braxton Wall

Mrs. Ruby Braxton Wall, 90, of Elberton, Ga passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Athens Regional Piedmont.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, June 4th from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.

Born May 20, 1928 in Lenoir County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Mary Braxton.  Mrs. Wall graduated from Wheat Swamp High School, and attended East Carolina Teachers College. She married John G. Wall and worked at Sears Roebuck in Gainesville for 20 years.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wall is preceded in death by her husband and her siblings, Allen Braxton, Mildred Pelletier, Herman Braxton, Carlton Braxton, Ellen Gray, and Maybelle Hill.

Mrs. Wall is survived by her daughter and son in law, Glenda and Doug McLeod, and her son, John Allen Wall.
