Marvin L. “Junior” Worrell, Sr

Marvin L. “Junior” Worrell, Sr, age 77, of Cleveland, GA passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Shawn Peppers. Mr. Worrell is survived by children, Shannon and Janet Sheppard, Mansfield, TX, Marvin L. Worrell, Jr, Grayson, GA, and Shari Worrell, Stockton, CA; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Donnie Adams, Snellville, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Mr. Worrell was born on June 24, 1940 in Colquitt, GA. He was a 1965 graduate of Jordan High School in Columbus, GA. Mr. Worrell was a veteran of the U. S. Army for two years, and he was a retired restaurant manager for Waffle House, Inc. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Monday,  June 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at GA National Cemetery in Canton, GA.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 10 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Fisher House (fisherhouse.org) in memory of Marvin Worrell.
