Delores Wofford Evans

Delores Wofford Evans, age 71 of Cumming, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. Delores was the owner of The Hair Store for 28 years and also co-owner of Larry Evans Trucking Company. She loved the beach, NASCAR racing, antique car shows, spending time with her family and was an excellent cook.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Shirley Wofford; brother, Bobby Wofford and father-in-law and mother-in-law, R. W. and Edna Evans.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Larry Evans of Cumming, son and daughter-in-law, Bradley and Suzanne Evans of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Jason Stowe of Cumming, grandchildren, Dylan Evans, Austin, Ava and Addison Stowe all of Cumming; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley Ann and Garland Roberts of Buford; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Wofford of Cumming; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 16^th at 2:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donnie Nix, Benny Grogan and Rev. Keith Dean officiating. Entombment will follow in Sawnee View Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral home on Friday from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm and Saturday from 11:00 am until hour of the service.
