Joyce Phillips

Ingram Funeral Home announces the death of Joyce Phillips, age 93, of Cumming, GA.

Mrs. Phillips attended the Lanier United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma, an International Education Honor Society. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Josephine Wygandt Ryder; her husband, James E. Phillips; and her five siblings.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Dr. James (Kathy) Phillips of Bellaire, TX; her daughter and son in law, Joyce (Tom) Frederick of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Erin Phillips, Lisa Phillips, Matthew (Diana) Frederick of Atlanta, GA, Kimberley (Ryan) Nigro; 5 great grandchildren; niece, Teddy (John Kohli) Dumont of Dahlonega; along with many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held Monday, June 18, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Dr. Ed Tomlinson officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 3:00 p.m. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donation be made to The Foundation of Wesley Woods at 1817 Clifton Road N.E. Atlanta, Ga, 30329.
