Octavia Clark Taylor

Mrs. Octavia Clark Taylor, age 81 of 264 Railroad Street, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Monday, June 18, 2018 at her residence.

A daughter of the late Liddie Fuller Clark, she was born September 3, 1936 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all her life. She owned and operated Faith, Hope and Love Daycare in her home. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Taylor in 2001, two sons, David and Roger Taylor, sister, Bertha Bailey. granddaughter, Cerra Lewallen and by a brother, Thomas Clark.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Edna and Elgar Lewallen of Eastanollee; two sons and daughters-in-law, William and Patricia Taylor and Daniel and Kim Taylor both of Toccoa; eight grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and sixteen great-great grandchildren; brother, Lee Clark of Toccoa; sister, Grace Saylors of Toccoa.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 21, 2018, 2 O’clock p.m. from the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Andy Childs officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Kenneth Taylor, Dillon Kinsey, Austin Kinsey, Bo Taylor, Jason Lewallen, Allen Barrett, Mack Fortson, and Mason Kinsey.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Condolences can be left for the family by visiting www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Octavia Clark Taylor.
