William Joe Ivey

William Joe Ivey, age 64, of Gainesville, GA passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Joanne Ivey. Mr. Ivey is survived by his sisters, Deborah I. Morrin, Gainesville,  GA and Lisa (Frank) Manning, Cleveland, GA; four nieces, Michelle (Brent) Stalions; Lindsay (Kyle) Ary; Ashley Manning, Anna Manning; and four great nephews and nieces. Mr. Ivey was born in Atlanta, GA on December 3, 1953. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and a 1971 graduate of Cross Keys High School. Mr. Ivey was an air conditioning repairman.  He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, and was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and Atlanta Braves fan.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry St, Macon, GA 31201.Graveside service with military honors on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA with Pastor Greg Kirk officiating.
