Bobby David Bennett

Mr. Bobby David Bennett, age 40, of Dahlonega passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018. 

Bobby was born on March 21, 1978 in Forsyth County. He was preceded in death by his father Jackie Bennett, brother Jackie David Bennett Jr., and maternal grandparents Major and Willie Lou Bennett.  Bobby was a 1996 graduate of Lumpkin County High School.  He was a truck driver for Capital Materials, a job that he loved.  Bobby loved to ride his motorcycle. In recent days Bobby had been involved with and developed a deep love for the Lumpkin Heroes Baseball Team. 

Survivors include his wife Natalie Bennett, Dahlonega; son David Bennett, Dahlonega; mother Jane Bennett Chambers, Cleveland; paternal grandparents Larry and Belvia Bennett, Clayton; special aunt Allene Gaddis, Dahlonega; several friends and other relatives. 

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Saturday, June 23, 2018 in the chapel of Banister Funeral Home. The Rev. Lyman Caldwell and the Rev. Lamar Day will officiate. Interment will follow in Hightower Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
