Jewell Harold Hanley

Mr. Jewell Harold Hanley, age 93, of Commerce died Saturday, June 23, 2018 at his residence.  Mr. Hanley was born in Commerce to the late, Tommy M. and Pearlie Mae Burnette Hanley.  Mr. Hanley was retired cattle and chicken farmer, a member of Gateway Believers Fellowship Church and the Gideons International- Franklin County Chapter.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Hanley was also preceded in death by his wife, Callie Wilbanks Hanley.

Mr. Hanley is survived by his sons, Vernon Hanley of Commerce, Randall Hanley of Commerce, and Gerald Hanley of Loganville; sisters, Thelma Cox of Lilburn; 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 26th at 2:00 PM from Hudson River Baptist Church with Rev. Tananarive Singleton officiating with the interment in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday night from 6-8 PM.
