Pearl Dills Miller Seegar

Mrs. Pearl Dills Miller Seegar, age 97 of 2382 Liberty Hill Road, Eastanollee passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at her residence.

A daughter of the late Kanara Mae Dills and Carrie King Dills, she was born January 15, 1921 in Macon County, North Carolina having lived most of her life in Stephens County. She owned and operator a mobile home park in Eastanollee for a number of years and also sold Stanley Home Products. She was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, we was preceded in death by her first husband, Leonard Miller in 1972, her second husband, Jewel Slocum in 1985, her third husband, Bill Seegar in 1990 and by a son, Richard Miller in 2005.

Survivors include a daughter, June Hocum of Columbia, South Carolina; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Elaine Miller of Braselton, Georgia and George and Cindy Miller of Eastanollee; ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; sister, Alice Carter of Stewart, Florida.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 30, 2018, 2 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Collett officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, John Miller, Curt Partin, Matt Miller, Bart Miller, Ezra Bowen and Waylon Watkins.

The family will be at the home on Liberty Hill Road and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday and Friday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Pearl Miller Seegar.
