Larry D. Higgins

Larry D. Higgins, age 78 of Sugar Hill, GA passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Mae Tribble and step-father, Dewey Tribble. Mr. Higgins is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean and Jack Spivey, Suwanee, GA, Joyce Dodd, Buford, GA, Shirley and Bill Robertson, Tucker, GA; nieces, Linda Pass and Shannon and Mark Stover; nephews, Lee and Kerri Lawson, Jaddie and Becky Dodd, and Mark Lawson; and several great nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Mr. Higgins was born on August 10, 1939 in Buford, GA. He was a 1958 graduate of Sugar Hill High School, and he was a retired carpenter from B. H. Humphrey Company. Mr. Higgins enjoyed his vegetable garden and sharing with his family and friends - he was a very generous person. Also, Mr. Higgins was an avid sports fan.  He was of the Baptist faith. A Celebration of Life Service and visitation will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 p.m. in the reception room at Flanigan Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity in memory of Larry Higgins.
