It is with a heavy heart that the family of Nezzie Elizabeth “Libby” Campbell, 84, formerly of Flowery Branch, beloved Mother, Mother in Law, Grandma and Great Grandma, announce her passing on Sunday, July 15. 2018.
Always known as Libby, she was born on January 7, 1934 in Banks County to the late Henry and Annie Mae Powers Mize. Libby owned her own beauty shop “Scenic Styles” in Lawrenceville for many years and eventually retired from Rockwell. Her family will always remember Christmas at the lake house and her love of cooking; always preparing the grand Thanksgiving dinner for everyone to enjoy. Libby loved to shop and always took great pride in her appearance.
She loved her boys, her grandchildren and her family.
Libby is survived by her son, Terry and his wife, Jeanne; grandchildren, Matthew, Katie, Cody, Casey and Kendyl and great grandson, Parker.
In addition to her parents, Libby was preceded in death by her son, Mike along with her brothers and sisters, Clinton, Carl, Jim, Henry, Berta and Jean.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 pm Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Acree Davis Funeral Home in Toccoa followed by a 1:00 pm graveside service at Stephens Memorial Gardens officiated by Pastor Loy Davis Roperr.
Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Elizabeth “Libby” Campbell.
