Robert Francis Lane

Robert Francis Lane, age 49, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 19, 2018 in Cumming, Georgia surrounded by his family. He was born on June 13, 1969 in Syracuse, New York, to Laurence and Kathleen Lane. He attended The University of West Georgia where he played tennis. He married Brandi Moore on September 11, 1993 and brought two beautiful children, Jake (19) and Anna Kate (16), into the world later in their marriage. Bobby loved playing sports, you could always find him on a tennis court or the golf course. He also was a big Georgia Bulldog fan and loved watching the football games with his family and friends. Left to honor Bobby and remember his love are his wife, Brandi; two children, Jake and Anna Kate;  parents, Laurence and Kathleen; sisters, Theresa (John) and Lisa (Tim); and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Bobby will be forever remembered as a shining light among all of his friends and family. Visitation will be held at McDonald & Son in Cumming, Georgia on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 4pm-7pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 11:30am at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church in Cumming, Georgia with Rev. Richard Morrow presiding. The Lane Family would like to extend our gratitude to all of the staff at Northside Forsyth Hospital, specifically those who treated Bobby like family during his stay at the ICU.
