Jerry Edwards, Jr

Jerry Edwards, Jr, age 52, of Buford, GA passed away Monday, July 30, 2018. He was preceded in death by parents, Jerry and Donna Ruth Edwards, and his partner of twenty-six years, Sandy Brumblow. Mr. Edwards is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Lou Ellen and Terry Heard, Jefferson, GA and Laurie and William Morrison, Gainesville, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Terry Thomas and Jenie Edwards, Winder, GA, and James Edwards, Dallas, GA; and other relatives. Mr. Edwards was born on December 22, 1965 in Calhoun, GA. He was a lifelong resident of Buford, GA. He received his education at Willis High School in Smyrna, GA, and he was a carpenter. Mr. Edwards was a member of Oak Grove Independent Baptist Church in Hoschton, GA. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Robbie Black, pastor of Oak Grove Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 1 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
