Edgar Jackie Bruce

Mr. Edgar Jackie Bruce, age 88, of Commerce, GA died Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at his residence.  Mr. Bruce was born in Homer to the late George Wesley and Emmie Seay Bruce.  He was a member of Madison Street Baptist Church.  Mr. Bruce was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the Homer American Legion.  He was retired from Westinghouse.

Mr. Bruce is survived by his wife, Geraldine Wilson Bruce; daughter, Kathy Edwards; and son, Keith Bruce all of Commerce; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Friday, August 3 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. David Harbin and Rev. Blake Carter officiating.  Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night from 5 to 7 PM.
