Henry Alfred Stover

Mr. Henry Alfred Stover, age of 87 of Gainesville, passed away on August 2, 2018. Funeral services are scheduled at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel. Rev. Steve Brannon, Rev. Milton Harris, and Rev. Billy Blocker will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 on Friday, August 3, 2018 at the funeral home.

Mr. Stover was born on January 23, 1931 in Jackson County Georgia. He retired from Lazy Days Manufacturing in Buford and was currently a Deacon at New Bridge Baptist Church in Gainesville.

He was preceded in death by his parents Rufus Stover and Minnie Hooper Stover; son Donald Stover; brothers James Stover, Andy Stover, and Chester Stover; sisters Naomi Stover Stargel and Evelyn Stover Baker.

He is survived by his wife Lunette McDougald Stover; son Alfred “Al” Stover; son and daughter-in-law Dennis Stover and Kristi Stover; grandson Andrew Stover; brother and sister-in-law Amos and Ann Stover; sister in laws Marie Stover, Dora Mae Murphy, Shirley McKenney, and Modane Stover.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the New Bridge Baptist Church Special Fund, 3120 Cleveland Highway, Gainesville, Georgia 30506.
