William R. Lord, Sr.

William R. Lord, Sr., age 88, of Suwanee, GA, passed away Monday, August 6, 2018. He was preceded in death by wife of fifty-seven years, Barbara Lord.  Mr. Lord is survived by daughters, Kim Lord of Murfreesboro, TN and Gina Lord of Shirley, NY; son, William R. Lord, Jr., Patchogue, NY; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; niece, Gerri Garcia, Brooklyn, NY; and caregiver and granddaughter, Makini A. Peters, Suwanee, GA.  Mr. Lord was born on June 6, 1930 in New York, NY.  He was a graduate of DeWitt Clinton High School in Bronx.  Mr. Lord was a retired banker from Bankers Trust Bank in NY.  An interment service will be held at Calverton National Cemetary, 1 Old Montauk Highway, Mastic, NY 11950.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 9^th from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
