Johnny L. Dale

Mr. Johnny Leah Dale, age 63, of Dahlonega passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018.

Johnny was born in Lumpkin County on February 21, 1955 to the late Harry Lewis and Lillie Mae Sullens Dale. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Larry Dale and sister Barbara Dale. Johnny was retired from Fieldale after 45 years of dedicated employment. He loved to fish. Johnny attended Antioch Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Martha Boling; sons Lee Dale, and Edward Dale; daughter Laura Dale; stepson Dale Lee Murphy; stepdaughters Janice Lynn Dale, Leann Logue, and Veronica Baasch; brother Cecil Dale; two grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday in the chapel of Banister Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Wilkes and the Rev. Jonathan Fitzpatrick will officiate. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
