Gary Floyd Nix

Mr. Gary Floyd Nix, age 48 of Chopped Oak Road, Toccoa passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Landmark Hospital in Athens.

A son of Calvin Nix and the late Bonnie Perry Nix, he was born December 11, 1969 in Mt. Airy, Georgia having lived most of his life in Habersham County. He was a self-employed welder. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a son, Gary F. Nix, Jr. and by a sister, Tammy L. Nix.

Survivors include his father, Calvin Nix of Clarkesville; wife of the home, Olivia Mize Nix; son Dakota Nix and Hannah Reeves of the home; mother-in-law, Fay Mize of Toccoa; sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Boots Bohannon and Jaime and Stacy Justice both of Toccoa; niece and nephews, Monica McIntyre, Chris Nix, Clete Bohannon and Allen McIntyre.
